“A very good place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2009

I planned to spent summer holiday in Budapest with my family and the travel agent chose such hotel ,
The 1st impression that it's little far from city center and need about 15 min. walk from nearest Metro station Stadionok in a high speed road .
The hotel it self was excellent with very friendly staff , I choose the 2 rooms apartment which was excellent , the flat had a nice furniture , mini fridge , air conditioning in bed rooms and in hall , 2 supermarkets were just 10 min. walk in the other direction and one of them working 24 hours fall days !!!!
The only negatives were the breakfast in Saturday and Sunday was served very cold but situation changed in the rest for the week , No WIFI but ADSL cable is available in the room behind the reception
Really I like such place and with about 85 Euro /night for 4 persons including breakfast and taxes , its really excellent bargain specially with NO hidden charges

“Very comfortable and cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2008

Hi, We were a group of 6 people who stayed in this hotel in one of their apartment for 2 nights. We had two bedrooms and a living room with 2 sofa beds. The positives about this hotel
1) Very cheap - If you are on a budget and are travelling as a group then it is a great choice as the rooms are spacious and clean. I dont remember how much we paid but it was lower than anyother place we could find in budapest during easter. We had gone there not expecting much but found it to be a very good value hotel
2) Great breakfast - For the price you pay there is an included hot buffet breakfast
3) Supermarket nearby - The apartment had a kitchen and there is a supermarket 5 mins away, so if you like self catering there are options available
4) Helpful staff - We got help with finding our way to town, taxi to airport, tours in the town.

Negetives
1) Not very central - Also the bus/tram stop is about 10 minutes walk away and although we didnt have any problems I was a little sceptical walking back at night.
2) No restaurants near by but as Budapest was our last stop in a long trip we dined in and ordered food from an indian restaurant which came in good time
3) Hidden cost - Although kitchen is included you still need to pay extra to use it but it is only about 4 euros a day

Overall will recommend this place for groups who dont want to splurge on accommodation. Will stay there again too even though there is nothing charming or pretty about the place but it is still very comfortable and good value.

“Dated with large rooms - Watch out for hidden costs.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2008

This hotel is located outside of the centre by about 2-3 miles. The rooms are large and clean enough but decor is very dated.Almost kitsch.Breakfast was fine with a choice of scrambled eggs, local sausages and other continental bits and pieces. No fresh fruit though. We paid £376 for a 3/4 bedroom self catering room for 9 nights. The hotel staff are pleasant enough and speak a good level of English.Towels were changed daily as were the bed linen but the pillows and duvets were not. They were a bit musky in truth. One down side was on the first day we were told we hadto pay 1000 forints a day(about £4)for the use of the kitchen facilities in a s/c apt.We were a bit confused that we would haveto pay to use cutlery and crockery and assumed that the 5000 forints we were asked to pay up front was or a deposit to ensure any breakages were covered. We insisted that we would not be using the oven etc as we didnt spend much time in the apartment and left the 5000 forints as a deposit. When we checked out we were asked to pay a further 4000 forints instead of getting back the deposit. We left without paying the 4000 fts but without the 5000 deposit.Shame really because the hotel manager was a pleasant bloke and left a bit of a sour note.

“Fantastic Value!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2007

Should really be upgraded to Hotel Ecstatic! I had a suite of six rooms, including a kitchen. a huge lounge, two balconeys, and five beds, just for me! Friends had to make do with only five rooms each! All for just twenty-eight pounds a night. The Hotel was clean and quiet, with good choices for breakfast. Staff were pretty miserable, but this is Hungary after all. The only drawback was that it's a grim ten-minute walk to the nearest Metro station - past parked lorries, waste ground, and a small colony of homeless people. Once on the Metro it's a only a few stops to the City centre.
