“Great location in Great Budapest, Great B&B and even better host!!”

The Kapital Inn in Budapest is the perfect place to stay. Albert is a great host and without a doubt one of the best we've met in all places we've been. When we arrived he explained and showed us on a map all the different places to visit and eat (very good recomendations by the way) and helped us build our itinerary for the next days. He gave us a few tips about Budapest too and offer to help any time if we needed it. The place is at a very good location, with everything at walking distance. Bedroom very confortable and bathroom spacious and clean. All is furnished with a great taste and you even have a DVD player and a laptop if you would like to use them... Breakfast is really nice, specially with the omelettes Albert cooks and you have it on a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere which was an excellent start of each of our days there... There are probably more good things to add but it will get too long... so all and all an excellent place to stay with an excellent host, that I would recomend to anyone going to Budapest.

Kapital Inn was like home away from home. This is a modern, immaculate B&B, and the location is perfect. Albert is very accommodating. The breakfasts are fortifying, and the refrigerator is stocked with cold drinks and snacks. You couldn't ask for a better, affordable stay in all of Budapest. Mike and Kathy Grabowski

“Just perfect”

Kapital Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a fun and cosy place in Budapest. Albert is a fantastic host, takes care of you better than your own mother ; ) The breakfast is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious with good showers. Albert gave us really useful advice and helped us arrange many small practical details. When I was tired from too much partying the night before, I stayed in my room watching DVDs and relaxing as if I was at home. Will be back for sure.. next time in the summer when we can use the big terrace to sunbathe and drink our afternoon tea..

Room Tip: The room closest to the kitchen might get a little noisy in the morning if the other guests get up b...

“A little gem in beautiful Budapest”

Kapital Inn and Albert's hospitality surpassed our expectations throughout our 4 night stay, which were already high due the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor.
Kapital Inn itself is stunning - impeccably furnished and tastefully decorated, you immediately feel at ease in its homely atmosphere. Breakfast every morning was a highlight in itself with a vast range of cereals, fresh breads, and delicious pastries to choose from, as well as Albert's tasty omelettes. This sets you up for the day as Albert assists in creating an itinerary, which he tailors to your interests. All of his recommendations were spot on and didn't disappoint.
I am already planning a trip to Budapest in the warmer weather and there is nowhere else I would rather stay.

“Excellent Value /Excellent Host”

We stayed 4 nights at Kapital Inn in late Sept. I picked Kapital Inn after careful research and it paid off in spades.
We came in by train from Vienna and after a few emails back and forth and taking in everything Albert said about how to get to the B&B we decided we could get there by using the metro. I used the map off Kapital Inn's website as well as getting hold of Budapest's rail lines on a website. We had no problem following the instructions and it took no more than 20 minutes from Keleti station. The underground is effeicient and fun to ride. You get off at Andrassy Blvd and its a matter of crossing the street and walking a block to Kapital Inn. I didn't even get to ring the bell as Albert was waiting for us as we had told him our approximate arrival. As said before, Albert then put both our duffle bags over his shoulders and up the 4 flights of stairs we went. Albert then shows you your room and explains which key is which etc. There is a laptop in the room for use, but we had our own and the wifi is super fast. The rooms are tastefully fitted and our bed was really nice to sleep in after a long day of exploring.
Albert shows you the rooftop terrace where you have breakfast and you have the huge tv and lounge sofa to sit on. Its peaceful and quiet up there. Albert keeps the kitchen stocked with fruit, breads, juices, soft drinks etc all for your use 24/7. When Albert was explaining what is where on the map he does so upside down. He's writing and drawing upside down like a Teppanyaki chef would do. He does this without mistakes. This is a skill!!!! Our questions were answered and with Albert's tips and knowledge about this beautiful city, you soon feel like its your city, too. The first afternoon we mainly wanted to find the money exchange and atm's which are just a few blocks away. The restaurants that Albert suggests are top notch. Nothing was super expensive and the alfresco dining that Albert suggests is spot on. We bought a Budapest card to help get around on the underground and the trams. Again, the tourist place isn't far away. Using the underground and trams are easy and really gets you to the Danube in any direction pretty quickly.
Albert also talked us into going to the Turkish Baths. We're glad he did. It is an easy 15 minute walk and was very relaxing. It is worth it.
Every morning we would talk with Albert and the other guests and we would feed off each other as to what we wanted to do or had done. This just made each day all the more fun to set out and explore after Albert's perfect eggs.
My wife wanted to do laundry and Albert did this for us at no charge. Ask for this at a hotel and you're going to be charged.
Our last day, Albert ordered the taxi to take us to the airport and its a fixed price. It makes you feel good that you aren't being ripped off which could easily happen. He also takes your luggage back down.
One last thing that isn't on Kapital Inn's website yet. Albert has put together a 2 1/2 minute video of Kapital Inn that you can find on youtube. Just type in Kapital Inn on youtube and turn your sound on and enjoy. What you see on this video is what you get with this incredible young man.
Albert, we wish you all the success in the world. Your generosity and hospitality are pure class.
