“We can highly recommend this hotel”

We stayed 3 nights in this stylish & very friendly hotel. We were very impressed with front desk staff who were helpful & spoke excellent English. We had a standard room which was a good size & nicely furnished. The breakfast had an excellent & wide choice & was available until 10am, meaning no early morning rush to get up & down to the breakfast table - most welcome.
The hotel also has a small sauna & jacuzzi which was also a little treat.
Should we return to Budapest we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We just had a standard room which we were happy with but it didn't have a balcony, which I think...

Hotel situated in quiet street but close to public transport links. Easy walk from main train station with cases. Good rooms, great breakfast, superb value and really helpful staff, highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend time in Budapest.

“one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at”

My wife and I recently stayed at the BW Parlament in Budapest for 3 nights. I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels around the World and must say that this hotel was among the best I have stayed at. The location is fairly convienent to the Metro station, about a 10 minute walk at most. Numerous small restaurants and bars are in the immediate area as well as a wine bottle shop. The hotel featured an outstanding breakfast buffet as well as a machine that dispenses Cappacino or expresso drinks. Hotel has 2 lobby computers and a small bar at night. Our room was very comfortable with a decent view from the 4th floor. The staff was quite excellent, both very friendly and most helpful, thanks very much to Tomas the front desk manager. He arranged a box lunch for us because we had to depart to the airport earlier than the restaurant opened. Our room rate was very competitive and I will definetely stay at this hotel next time in Budapest, you should as well.

“Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

The staff were great and very helpful with recommendations. They were accomodating to our requests. The room was nice, although I was disappointed that they didn't have hair conditioner among their amenities. They have free wi-fi in the rooms, but the signal kept dropping. I still appreciated having free wi-fi access though! The spa area is set up for just a few people at a time, but when I used it, there was no one else there. (That was nice!). I think they have one of the best breakfast buffets of any hotel I've seen! They had a great selection of food and breads. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, and the pillows were flat, but the staff were nice enough to bring me extra pillows. I think most rooms have a balcony (great refrigerator if you are there in the winter), my balcony overlooked the glass covered hotel dining room below). The hotel is about 6-7 blocks from the Parliament, I thought it would be closer. Anywhere you wanted to go (i.e. to the Opera house, or to catch the Metro) was a minimum of 6-7 blocks. I didn't mind too much, at least it wasn't rainy, just wet and cold.

Room Tip: Maybe a room on the lower floors would have better Wi-fi access if that is important to you?
