“A cheap but cosy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

It is a very good hotel in the heart of the city. The hotel is cosy. It is located near the subway station (5 minutes by foot). If you like walking you can aslo easily reach all the main attractions in center of the city. A breakfast is good. There are scrambled eggs and sausages, musli, yoghurt, cheese, ham and baked goods. The rooms are spacious. There is a bath in the bathroom. It's not new but clean. The hotel's restaurant have "all you can eat" menu from 12.00 till 21.00. The price is 13 euro. But it is cheaper to pay in forints. The great advantage of this hotel is the room price. I reccomend this hotel for stay in beautiful Budapest.

“More than I had expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

I just picked it as a trade-off between very central location and low price.

And I wanted just a 1 night stay, so the price was my main concern.

To put it shortly - it was great, especially considering so-so Budapest standards. Room is very spacey, high ceilings, nice bathroom and clean bed. Hotel is not with a river view but it is in a center of everything, there are many bright lighted shops, restaurants and pubs and its nice and safe to go for a walk. You can park just outside for free if it's weekends and there is a city parking just 50 meters away. Also they have a free wi-fi, hearty breakfast (eggs, sausages and chicken and all usual crisps)

Also they have an offer - 13 euro - all you can eat and drink (beer and wine)
Despite the central position the hotel is quite quiet, and they have a blinders (!) on the windows, we woke up at 10 thanks to it :)

Yes, and staff was with excellent english and very polite and friendly. Like, not only giving advise on where to park, but even holding a place while I am maneuvering.

Well, it was nice, it was cheap, I will stay there and I would recommend it

Room Tip: all are good

“Great Central location”

We stayed here for 2 nights recently we booked 4 rooms. Clean and the beds comfy just what you need after long nights partying. Just a few mins walk to the tram and 5 mins to Andrassy St for shopping. Hot rooms (but then people love their heating on full over there) Breakfast was buffet and you could have as much as you like. Overhaull value for money and we stayed in a different hotel last year that was higher star rating but preffered the Unio. I would recommend and would return.

Very pleased with this hotel. Big rooms full of character, comfortable bed, quiet, and buffet breakfast in the reasonable price. It's in a convenient central location close to public transport. I would definitely stay here again.
