Very good value for money, centrally located, very good experience.

The hotel has not a perfect but good location to the downtown center (20-30mins walk). There rooms are small but not too bad.

Unfortunately, they cheated us with taxi transportation costs to the airport. They charge 6.500 Forint as said at the reception. Me, being often in Budapest, knew that the normal price if asked at one of the taxi companies is fixed price about 3.900 Forint so quite a bit less. As I said to the receptionist that their price is pretty high he pretended not to know anything cheaper but as I told them a number of a taxi company (e.g. 2 000 000) he immediately know the company and called them with the cheap price.

The next morning I still saw the expensive sign. In my opinion they should change it to the cheaper one since it´s a fixed price. I ask them about it and they just told me they will ask the general manager about it. They shouldn´t make money with that way. I don´t care about the money itself and also not if they charge some more for the "calling" service but charging almost the double and then not reacting isn´t that friendly.

After giving them that feedback on their email form a Spanish guy called me but never come back with an answer after promising that. So, after all, a pitty for the hotel and I will not send any of my clients there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights, September 28-30, 2011. This was the best hotel in our entire Bohemian Rhapsody Tour of Cosmos. The hotel is right in the city. Rooms are ok with free room internet. The bed mattress was still firm and pillows were still ok. We had the best sleep of our tour in this hotel. The only negative would probably be the glass shower cover which covers only 1/2 of the side so some water splashes out into the bathroom floor when one takes a shower.

We stayed for four nights in October. Good modern hotel, large rooms, very good service. Tea/coffee facilities in room. Location is good, close to the Nyugati train station, a tram ride or 20 minute stroll to the centre of the main tourist centre. There are lots of good priced restaurants and cafes close to the hotel. The only fault was the room lighting - it was very dim. We had to move into the bathroom to read anything. If I was on a business trip I would be pretty dissatisfied. We booked in advance through Expedia - got the same rate as NH's non-cancel rate but able to cancel. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty expensive however a cheap bakery and cafe are across the road.
