The location of this hotel is very central, only a ten minute walk to the river. Passing by Vaci utca, with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The Hotel,s reception and lobby area is very clean, bright, and modern. The staff were pleasant. The corridors leading from the lifts to the rooms were long and dreary and could have with some large photos of local sights (of which there are plenty) just brighten them up.The room was very big, with a high ceiling, Shower was in need of some TLC as seen in a lot of the pictures on this site. The walls are solid but very thin. The bed very large and comfortable. Breakfast is served from 7am till 10 am, but found that this was aimed more at the european market, Plenty of bread, cheese and cold meats. Fresh (or not so fresh) fruit daily, larger selection on Friday/Saturday morning. The restaurant was not open in the evening, the lobby bar was not open. The sauna was not open, this Hotel could offer so much more. If your after a cheap break this is the place for you, but it is a not a 4 star Hotel.

The location of this hotel is great, an easy walk to practically everything. I agree with other reviewers that the rooms are a little 'tired' and could use a bit of TLC, but they are perfectly functional. The bedding was clean, the shower was good (yes, the screen was prone to coming off its runner if not handled gently, but it was hardly a problem) and although the room wasn't cleaned every day, it didn't need it. The breakfast was more than enough to set me up for the day, and the staff were helpful. If it is luxury you are looking for then pay more and stay somewhere else, but if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay with a decent breakfast in an ideal location, you can't go far wrong.

On checking in , reception staff very helpful and would do anything for you. We were given a room with 4 single beds in for just me and my husband, so lots of room. There is only a shower with free toiletries. There is air- con , but it did make a noise.
Breakfast ...well for a 4 * it is not. All food and drink luke warm .Choice for cereal 2 lots of chocolate type and one other. Freash fruit was looking not appealing. A toaster that didnt work. One type of yogurt and one type of jam. Very dissappointing, not a 4* at all.

I have stayed at hostels nicer that this hotell! It is very centrally located which is a plus, but it's rather in need of renovation, most of the staff where quite unpleasant (there were to very nice people at the reception who made an effort though), the breakfast was of poor quality and the cleaning of the rooms not very good.

If you get a good deal you it's fine (good size rooms). But be a aware that this is rather a TWO star that a four star hotell. I would not recommend this to friends
