I've been a guest of Hotel Corvin for several times. I discovered it back in 2006, when the organizers of a poetry festival made me a reservation there. I revisited on several occasions. It's locatd very close to the Danube and to the main boulevard of Pest, with good access to any railway station and the airport, too. The neighbourhood is clean and quiet, the personnel is classy, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean and (most important!) spacious - more spacious than the usual rooms in a three-star hotel in Paris or London. During my last stay, in September 2011, there were traditional Hungarian music and dance programmes especially set up for tourists. The foreigners seemed to enjoy them tremendously. Whenever I visit Budapest, I'll always choose Corvin Hotel as my temporary residence.
