If you want a clean, comfortable room in a central location, you can't beat the Starlight. It is bang next door to the Gresham Hotel and we could even glimpse the Chain Bridge from our window. With a separate sitting area and large, well laid out bedroom with a comfy bed, you couldn't want for more. The bathroom was also very clean. The only small downside was the lack of a kettle, but we got used to heating up the water in a microwave. All in all great value and highly recommended.

Quiet room (3 room suite) where I could study for an (international) exam without a view on my bed or the shower. All of Budapest landmarks in walking distance (after the exam), You walk to the citadel in 40 minutes, Public transport in 5 min and the Chain bridge in one minute.
Every morning a breakfast with anything you want and I had extra coffee when I asked for.

Just moments away from the Chain Bridge and the main squares with large, comfortables rooms the location couldn't be any better. Our room was made up of a large bedroom and equally large sitting room containing a microwave and some crockery and decent sized bathroom. Have now stayed here three times and will certainly stay again when visiting the city.

Breakfast was a basic continental included in the price or for a small supplement bacon, eggs etc were available.

Reception was very helpful - booking restaurants, cabs, etc. and we were even able to buy tram tickets at reception.

Great location on a quiet back street in Pest. Staff had a baby bed and a camp bed waiting for us just as requested. Secure off-street parking at a reasonable rate. Good value from seasonal packages that you can book directly through the hotel. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. 24 hour reception that is very helpful in all matters.

Only one negative. It is easy to exceed the limits of the continental breakfast and accidentally stray into the (more expensive) buffet breakfast. Felt a bit sneaky.
