Hotel Peregrinus has an excellent location, just few steps from the Vaci street, The old Market hall and the Danube. It is an ideal hotel for city tourism, and also the reception service is excellent.

The room prices are quite high, but corresponded with other hotels in this area, the relation between price and quality is not bad. Also the minibar prices were relatively quite high, but still not higher than in any hotel in Budapest center.

The breakfast room was average, and also the service in breakfast was average. The intime garden is an refreshing surprise.

The rooms are large, and the old building gives an old-fashioned, luxury and romantic atmosphere, typical to Budapest and Central Eastern Europe.

I found this hotel via one of the hotel services in town. I was happy to find it because everything else in the center was booked for the weekend. It has a good location, but I thought it was overpriced for what you get. Just basic ammenities.

Stayed here for the F1 Grand Prix weekend and it was excellent. Hotel itself was nice, clean and in a lovely old buliding. Rooms were large with reasonable facilities for the weekend and again very clean. Location was great as 50m from the main shopping street, 100m from the Danube and handy for the underground and main tourist attractions. Staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful and the continental breakfast was adequate. All in all a clean and comfortable stay for the money. Lastly nice to see for the F1 weekend they didn't double the price like most other hotels in the city!!
