This place is gross, don't bother staying here unless you want to leave with bedbugs- they won't admit it but it's true..... I am entirely grossed out and very angry!!!!

This hotel is in line with the Radisson standard you expect. The rooms are clean but nothing special. Bar in the reception area is ok, with some sofas, however, Hungary does not have no smoking laws so the area can get a little cloudy.

There is free wifi throughout the hotel

Breakfast was a buffet and was ok but not great. There was often a long queue to get an omlette and the buffet area was often bare of food leaving patrons waiting for the refill.

Location is good - about 2 minutes from the nearest metro or tram stop. there are also some good restaurants nearby (try Bock Bistro)

It would have been nice to be able to afford one of the pricey hotels on the river. But the Radisson offered many fine qualities. It had a good location on a busy thoroughfare with lots of restaurants nearby and the river and museums in close walking distance. The Internet was good (and free!), and the room was fine. The price was good at 70 Euros per night.

The breakfast was expensive, so I ate at nearby bakeries and even had a breakfast burrito a couple of blocks away, all on the same avenue.

Two gripes: I found the front desk staff to be a bit distant, not very warm in answering my dumb tourist questions. And the charge for washing clothes was too high.

In all, though, I would stay here again.

We visited Budapest during a Globus Imperial Splendors escorted tour. Of all the hotels in the tour package, the Beke Radisson had probably the best location. Located less than 500 meters from the Oktogon metro station at Andrassy Street, which is the main shopping boulevard in Budapest, it is about half way between Heroes' Square and the Danube. The metro is only required if you're tired, because it is reasonable walking distance in both directions. It is within just a couple blocks of the House of Terror Museum and the Menza cafe.
