I stayed here three nights on business. Selected the hotel primarily based on previous experiences with Radissons in Europe and N. America. I was quite a bit underwhelmed by this property in comparison to others, and would echo comments from others here such as "average", "standard but decent", or "adequate."
Positives:
- Good location on a major boulevard; close to metro, trams, some upscale shopping and restaurants; easy walk to Heroes Square and the open-top tour buses stop relatively close-by
- Nice little cafe/bar in the lobby with good cakes, coffees, bar service
Negatives:
- Breakfast is nothing to write home about; not bad, just uninspired/bland
- Unsurprisingly, food in hotel restaurant is also uninspired/bland
- Hotel feels fairly old/dated inside, especially on the guest floors
- Rooms are more 3 Star quality than 4 Star
- Wi-fi highly variable depending on room location, but strong in the lobby at least
- Parking is expensive, around 45-50 Euros a day
- Main road can be very noisy at night; my room didn't even face that side and I was still awoken a few times by emergency vehicles running sirens at 1-3am (is there really that much traffic at that hour?) or what sounded like motorcycle and car drag racing down the boulevard
Not bad, solidly average. I think the only 'wow' factor is in the room & parking rates, but at least I wasn't paying.
