The hotel is situated on a beautiful island right between Buda and Pest. The island is one big garden which is so nice.
But be ready for quite long walks to get to the main sights.
Breakfasts are tasty and various.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious - try to get room with the balcony looking at the backyard: idyllic one.

This resort is located on an island in the middle of the Danube. The island is very peaceful and quiet. As a spa resort it is great, but it’s not very good if you want to see the sites in downtown Budapest. It’s not very convenient for public transportation and expensive if using a taxi.
The rooms are clean and large. Breakfast and dinner are very good. Staff are very helpful.

I have been to this place many times over the last 10 years with many different treatments
to try. My last visit was in April to show my friend where she should stay for the spa and good massages. I once had a chance to go three times within July and August with different people and they enjoyed it as much as i do. I used to visit Budapest on business with my husband but now I arrange to go with a friend instead. The hotel is a bit dreary in places, but the food is good and the staff are very helpful. The island is nice to navigate to get exercise and there is a small zoo for children and bikes and little cars to ride around the island on. My first visit was after looking at all the other spa hotels and this was the nicest.

We were a little dubious about staying on an island surrounded by a park fearing that there may be youths hanging around at night time but the island was pretty quiet. If you like walking and peaceful surroundings this is a great place to stay and we were pleasantly surprised. There is also an under advertised bouncy running track all the way around the perimeter of the island stretching to about 5km. There is public transport for those that do not like walking or the staff at the hotel can quite easily order you a taxi to take you into either Buda or Pest for not a vast amount of money. The hotel was fantastic value for money, the room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean with a balcony, the food was good and the spa was excellent (the spa being a modern one). The staff were a little hit and miss, some were very pleasant and helpful, others not so but we found this with Budapest on the whole.
