By American standards, the layout of this place is a bit strange. I stayed here for one night before my return home. However, I ended up being delayed an extra 3 days due to Hurricane Irene since my return was routed through JFK. I brought another 3 couples with me from the airport, all stranded too. While it isn't the Ritz, it is clean, has a good price, gives you an OK breakfast, and has free internet either via their WIFI or via the hotel's lobby lap top for those of us too lazy to bring along our own. It turned out to be a lifeline when we were stuck and couldn't fly out. The location is also very good, with the West End shopping mall close by and the river and Margarit Island within walking distance. When some in our party wanted something more American, we checked out the Radisson up the street. Very nice, but at almost double the price with no free internet and no breakfast, it just couldn't compete!
