The Budapest Marriott Hotel is across the street from the Danube River, with views of Buda Castle [which is illuminated at night], Elizabeth Bridge, and the Castle District. You can catch a day or night cruise by walking across the street. Tickets for the cruises can be purchased at the concierge desk at the Marriott. Being a frequent guest of Marriotts across the world, we were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a corner room and access to the concierge lounge [with comp breakfast and evening snacks]. Hotel's restaurants, both indoor and outdoor, looked great with appealing menus - but we chose to go the the many restaurants just a few blocks away from the hotel.

We had a fantastic 2 nights at hotel Marriott. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made everything very easy for us.

One of the best locations in the city. Room with the view on Danube and the castel hill is a must...it is a pleasure to go to bed having such a stoning view. Also very good menu choice in a hotel restaurant (also for breakfast). So almost perefect stay...almost as everything was disrupted by noisy air conditioning. It was impossible to sleep...and watching the castel hill for half a night can be tiring...

I stayed 3 nights in the Marriot with their winterspecial deals. The hotel is great - not nice from the outside but very stylish from the inside - rooms are top notch Marriot standars - the beds as always with the marriots are amazing. The sunday brunch is a must! make sure to make reservations as it is a famous happening and therefore very busy.
The location os the hotel is just great - we actually never had the chance to take the tram of metro - we walked mostly - one day we took the hop on hop off bus which was great to see the Buda side of the city. Bath house Rudas is really a must see when in Budapest, however only in weekends it is mixed. overall my stay in the Marriot was very pleasant.
