“Weekend at Budapest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Hotel is totally worths the money. First of all rooms, towels, sheets are a little bit old but they all clean and fine. Location is good enough to walk every touristic place in Budapest. Breakfast was more than enough only the place is a bit small. Staff was definitely helpful and friendly. And i totally recommend this hotel for everyone, as i would stay there next time too.

“great locale and staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

we stayed here 1/14-20/12 on recommendation of our AAA agent. i wasn't sure about the locale from maps as it looked too far out. IT WASN:T - it was perfectly located to walk to all sites in downtown as well as over to Buda to the palace and Gellert Hill. there were numerous restaurants nearby, as well as ATMs. Our triple room was quiet and on 5th floor. it had entry way where you put your key card to turn on the lites as well as place for coats/shoes. the bedroom had a large bed. our son slept on the futon bed in the living room which was not too comfy. that room also had a tv and desks and chairs. the breakfast here was superb - hot and cold meats, scrambled eggs, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, breads, jams - quite yummy. and all the coffee/tea/cocoa you'd want. the staff were helpful w/ restaurants, tho they should've told our son about the need for the keycard to turn on the lites. the bathroom was large and sink great for doing laundry.

“Great location, nice hotel and friendly staff”

We stayed there with our five month old daughter. We booked through booking.com and we stated that we would need a cot bed and a room for 3. On arrival the room we had been allocated was far too small for us, a child, a pram and a suitcase. I asked to be moved and they were very accommodating. We couldn't move rooms until the next night but when we did, it was much more spacious! Hotel staff were very friendly, location is fantastic - away from the noisy main streets and some great bars, cafes and a fantastic restaurant next door - Borsso. Breakfast was a bit of a let down with a DIY instant coffee machine and not a big choice but overall it was a good hotel. Eating is so good and inexpensive there it made no real difference!

“Excellent location, great service, Average stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

The location was excellent. Close to the metro station walking distance to the shopping district. Plenty of good pubs around. Walking distance to the Gellert Spa. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back.

“Our first time in Budapest, a great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

We stayed 2 nights at the BW Art in November 2011. We had a really comfortable and large room with a sitting area and separate bedroom. We also a large bathroom, with all the enmities, I do like those towel warmers! The breakfast had hot and cold options; it was simple but adequate for our needs. The hotel is convenient to restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The free wireless internet was a little problematic, but the public computer in the lobby was good enough for checking email. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: We used our Airmiles to book this room, a cheap way to stay in Europe.
