Although the hotel itself is clean and bright and the pool nice there are some poor aspects. The restaurant is worse than a school dining hall - if you dont get there on the first sitting then you dont get the same choice of food - once its run out it is not replaced like for like. It was crowded and noisy and the food wasnt brilliant. This wasnt helped by the electricity failing on several evenings. I know thats not the hotels fault.
In the end we ate out every night as it was so not enjoyable eating there and not relaxing at all.
There were never enough beds outside of the pool in the grassy area but we were not allowed to take any more outside despite hardly anyone staying inside as the weather was so nice. The attendant wouldnt let us move them - I think because he had to bring them in at the end of the day - so we ended up lying on the grass.
The location is quite good - central and with buses to nearby historic Piran.
