Very good and comfortable hotel. Close to the lake. Helpful staff (good knowledge of English and Italian).
Very good buffet breakfast and equally very good buffet dinner. The hotel also provided a typical Slovenian night one evening, with good food.
The rooms are large and spacious. Our room for 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 12 & 8) had a seperate double room, and a very larg room with 2 beds and lots of extra space.
The bathroom was very old and needs refurbishment.

Myself and my then fiancee booked this hotel for our wedding in Slovenia, all our family's stayed there and everyone of us was delighted with it, they were extremely helpful to our cause, the food they serve is really good, and really cheap for what you get, i highly recommend staying here if you want a great base to explore Bled,
we booked through the sales manager, Mateja and i have to say she was spectacular to deal with, really understanding and really really helpful with everything that we needed, we will stay there again when we go back, loved the bled cake, Try it in the K Bar next to the hotel, thanks for everything krim, ciao

This hotel sits on a busy road 200 yards uphill from Lake Bled. Heavy construction traffic goes past day and night so you hear the squeal of brakes at nearby traffic lights and then they brake all down the hill. First night I got no sleep at all, but the following day I requested a change of room to the back of the hotel which they did immediately and it was totally silent at night.

Rooms were spacious enough and kept very clean. No tea or coffee facilities. Continental breakfast was adequate and to our surprise after sampling rather expensive priced meals at restaurants near the lake, we found the hotel served excellent a la carte evening meals, well presented and at half the price. Wine was only 1 euro for a small glass.

Buses and trains were easily accessible and quite cheap to Ljubljana, Lake Bohinj and Kranjska Gora, all well worth visiting.

Taxis were very expensive. We paid 13 euros for a 3km journey taking less than 10 minutes. We did save 20 euros by booking a taxi over the Internet to collect us from the airport, otherwise it is 50 euros by airport taxis.

There about 8 steps up to the front of the hotel but there is a lift to every floor. If you want a reasonably priced hotel and not too many frills, this could be the one for you.

Stayed at the Hotel Krim for 5 days in early August.
Location great, close to the lake.
Breakfast horrible, even the coffee- so we'd grab an apple and go and have brunch in town.
Very 70's/ 80's decor but we didn't hang around in the hotel much. Great big bathroom with fabulous shower.
We stayed in a 2-room unit at the back with lovely view of the castle. It wasn't too noisy but definitely hot.
