I visited Bled in October 2011 for a robotics conference. I am a graduate student and am not very picky. I chose to stay here (I'm writing this in the lobby as I wait for my shuttle to the airport) because it's the cheapest hotel I could find. This hotel is nice, and the people are nice. It is within very short walking distance to anything you need to go to in Bled.
The room I had did the job. Like some of the other reviewers said, the towels are kind of old (does it really matter?). The bed was comfortable. It was near the road, but the traffic died down in the evening. Also, breakfast is free with the stay (as it is with the other hotels in the area).
The only bad part? I had made a reservation three times before coming here, twice on the internet, but without confirmation so I called to try for a third time to make the reservation. Over the phone they told me 51 euros per night. When I got here they had no record of my reservation. However, they had so many rooms available. I got lucky too, I paid 44 euros per night during my stay because I signed in at the same time as a European, who had some deal worked out through whatever company she booked with.
