It is a well preserved communist-era building. If you are for nostalgia and communist aesthetics (which I am) this is a good place to stay because it has been well renovated while retaining its spirit. Rooms are huge, ours was Tito's suite, and it is very close to the lake which is the main attraction in the city. Staff is great, breakfast is subpar but the eggs with ham are delicious. Expensive (170 euros after a short bargaining session). We went in autumm when the city is really empty.
