“good location”

Room was quite cozy and comfortable. Looked clean. You can make your own tea/coffee in the room. One of the best things i was pleasantly surprised of. There is an underground car parking and several gas stations near the hotel. Breakfast was good, personal spoke good English. Also the location is good, city center. Not far from bus station, around 25/30 min. by foot. No good view, but close to everything. Comfortable the price is reasonable. The hotel has excellent bus connections to the airport and the old city [20 min. each] with bus 175.Excellent breakfast costs 35 zl.In a few words, a good choice
WiFi was not working all the time of our stay. Despite closed windows, it was noisy because of the passing-by trains

“No non-smoker rooms”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Not a nice stay: right after entering my room I felt like among a group of smokers. Direct calling to the reception didn`t solve my concern - no non-smoker rooms (for this night any more). Wonder if there actually are any. Unpleasant stay!

“Clean hotel close to the Central Railway station”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

I have to spend one night in Warswaw before my flight, and my colleagues make a reservation at Campanile.Well the staff are not so friendly as at Poznan for example, the hotel is to far from the Downtown, let say by walk is about 25-30 min or even more.
Room i got was clean and also well equipped.
Very easy you can reach to Railway station (10 min by walk)and Chopin Int Airport (by bus № 175)

“Ikea revisited”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

I spent a week at the Campanile while attending a conference in Warsaw. Took a cab from the airport and arrived before checkin. The front desk staff gave me the internet access password so I could get online after a long trip from the US. I was able to get to my room early which was good
The hotel is just around the corner from the Bus 175 stop from the airport and also close to the tram stop. Old town was an easy trip by tram or bus and the central station was just a10 minute walk.
The hotel was clean and sparsely, but adequately furnished. Did not try the breakfast but ate in restaurant and the food was good and reasonably priced. The front desk staff seemed to change daily and although the level of english proficiency varied greatly, were friendly and attentive. The dining room and bar staff were not at all attentive. At least in the evening, the bartender and waiter were huddled in the kitchen area or by the desk talking and it was difficult to get their attention or more than rudimentary service.
The only other shortcoming was the lack of internet access in the hotel room. Very good connection in the lounge and lobby but on the 5th floor, when a connection was available it was extremely slow and dropped repeatedly.

Room Tip: Rooms with higher numbers are away from the rail line.

“Never Again!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

This would have been a review reflecting a budget stay in a room which matched the budget price--perfectly fine for 2 nights. However, the first minus was that our room looked over the busy railway lines to Warsaw Central station and the glazing on the window was quite inadequate to deafen the noise. The second night was even worse! On that night, the one before our lengthy journey back to Scotland, we got NO SLEEP whatsoever! On returning to the hotel around 11pm we found a noisy wedding?function in full swing and, knowing we needed a good night's sleep, we inquired at Reception what time the function was due to end. We were informed it would end at 4am. We were horrified and with good reason.....the noise reverberated up to our second floor room (complete with loud announcements through a microphone turned up to high decibels!) and did indeed continue until 4am!!
I would like to thank Marcin at Reception for all the help he gave me in booking a restaurant which was difficult to access the phone number for.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms which don't look over the railway line and maybe rooms on high floors in case of n...
