We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hetman Hotel! You can easily walk or take tram 26 (and maybe others) to get to the Town Center, the Royal Way and Nowa Swiat. The zoo is also easily walked to. We felt safe walking around even in the Praga area. We ate at an excellent little place called Czarny Motyl just a short walk away. We also enjoyed visiting the small stores and bakeries nearby. We took two trams #26 for about five stops and then #22 to get to the Warsaw Rising Museum. Our rooms were of a good size and extremely clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The front desk was always willing to give us directions and order us a taxi on the morning which we left. we enjoy staying a little away from the main attractions and then have fun finding oour way around.

The hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the old town. The bed was very soft and quite comfortable to sleep. The bathroom had a good shower with plentiful hot water. Amenities like soap, shower caps, shampoo/shower gel were all provided in the bathroom. The staff of the hotel is also very helpful and polite. Also, they spoke good English.

It was a transit 1 night stay here but I was impressed to see rooms and hotel overall quite recent renovated (per feelings) with good interiors, big and clean bathroom. Friendly, english-speeking staff - impressive thing. Little bit noisy due to sport-bar downstairs on the street but taking into consideration the price and city area (Praga area is not the place for) I can say that it is good place to stay, especially for short business and transit.
P.S. Hint - Porto Praga restaurant on the nearby street (5 minutes walk) is a very-very good bonus for this hotel to stay.

Amazingly comfortable beds with cosy, thick quilts. Spotlessly clean bathroom with a shower that is hot and great pressure. Free wifi is a bonus and breakfast is great. Can't comment on location as I arrived early and left late. Would stay again though.
