This is a small hotel, with all of the personal attention and good customer service that you could hope for. There were no bellboys fussing over you to take your bag to your room; no queues at reception on arrival; and lovely wood-pannelling and art deco glazing everywhere (including in the lovely lift). All the rooms are different, apparently, with plenty of original furniture pieces from the early 20s and 30s, but attention has still been given to modern comforts (underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real treat). I felt like I was in an episode of Poirot, without the drama. The only difficulty I found was trying to regulate the room temperature, which was just too hot at night, so I opened the windows instead, which was fine. I wondered if the heating was controlled centrally by the hotel (which happened the last time I was in Poland) but did find the thermostat control on the day I checked out. The restaurant, I should add, was also very good and the service, again, was fantastic. All in all, a really good hotel.

It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. Recently rebuilt / refurbished in art deco style from 1920s, it radiates this old-fashioned elegance that hotels used to have before they were swallowed by look-alike hotel chains. It is tastefully decorated, combining looks with functionality. I was amazed by the bathroom in my room, which was a combination of marble, dark wood and mirrors - really beautiful. It's just really nice to stay in a hotel of this kind every now and then.

Unlike most major hotels which are located at main streets, this one is sort of tucked away in a quieter area, which is nonetheless still in a central location and very near (walking distance) to the central train station of Warsaw. The key positive is no noise from the street. Room was just fine, with free wireless internet and comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, with nice selection of warm buffet and a la carte menu. I was told that the hotel is famous for its restaurant but I didn't go there so cannot comment (see my review of the amazing Delizia restaurant next street instead). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall I will definitely like to stay here again next time I'm in Warsaw.

This hotel oozes atmosphere taking you back to the romance of an earlier time. We loved the art deco styling and supremely comfortable room.It is well designed with great attention to detail.
The reception staff were faultless in their service. They were friendly, professional and extremely helpful dealing with our various questions and requests.
Breakfast was excellent as was the dinner we had in the restaurant the night before, I particularly liked the menu and the way it offered dishes from late 19th century in its selection.Service in the bar was also exemplary and the bar snacks we ordered very tasty also.
The location of the hotel we discovered was very interesting, lots of history and really just a short walk to the main station.

An art deco hotel about 500 metres from the Central Station. Beautifully decorated premises, spacious rooms where everything works. The staff are polite, attentive and genuinely want to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The restaurant and bar are furnished in the art deco style and serve good, reasonably priced food. The breakfast was the best I had during my stay in Poland.

One small issue. The room was a little warm and I couldn't find the controls to vary the a/c temperature. Opening the window solved the issue.



I would recommend without hesitation.
