“Excellent experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Stayed on business for 1 night at the beginning of February. Excellent Intercontinental standard service. I was upgraded on check-in and had a huge, elegantly appointed room overlooking Warsaw. The lobby isn't as impressive as some of the more opulent Intercontinental properties, but the bar and restaurants are first rate, as is the impressive gym / pool on the top floor. Value wise this hotel is outstanding and is very well priced for such a high quality property.

I would highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Warsaw, and I look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Dear Guest,

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for having chosen Intercontinental Warszawa for your recent visit in Warsaw and I hope you had a pleasant and comfortable journey back home.

I was delighted to hear the hotel was able to properly address your concern, so you were able to enjoy your stay. Guest satisfaction is the backbone of our hotels and is the key to our success.
Your comments have been forwarded to the management so all involved can share in the warm views you have expressed and be recognized for their efforts.

I am pleased to advise that as one of Warsaw’s first hotels, on the 1st of December 2011 we have completed the installation of WiFi to all out guest rooms. Thus as of now 2012 guests who booked trough Intercontinental.com, or IGH.com will receive a basic level of Complimentary WIFI in their room.

Once again, we appreciate your positive feedback and for giving all of us at IHG another reason to be proud of our hotels. We look forward to serving your future lodging needs.

Sincerely,

“Not true 5 star hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Stayed in the hotel for one night before flight. View of Warsaw is great from the 22th floor and room itself is pretty big. That's all good about this hotel. First impression of the room was chemical smell after cleaning and that smell was during all night. Windows are dirty and dust was on bed corners, table and almost on every furniture. Climatisation system is another story. Seems like filters had not been changed for ages - there was lots of toile and dust on the ceiling near the air holes. Also, there was no possibility to turn it off (or at least - to make it a bit more silent). During the night its noise was very perceptible. It is ok that Wifi in room isn't free (internet cable didn't worked at all), but price is too big as for Poland in my opinion - about 10 euros per hour or 20 euros per day (during the stay in Switzerland and Belgium price was 15 francs and 10 euros per day respectively).

“An American In Poland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Went to Warsaw for four days for business and I decided based on past experiences of other IC hotels in the United States (Boston, New York, Washington D.C.) to stay here.

My business agenda was to "learn" about Vodka and it's consumption in Poland for a summer relaunch of a Polish Vodka that my agency is working on. After visiting numerous stores and bars around the Warsaw area, this hotel was exactly what I needed at the end of the day.

The hotel is centrally located and the service is very prompt and always with a smile.

Sure, the cafe and the bar is cool (as well as the pool and the gym) because you expect that from the InterContinental. The thing I loved about staying here is that – honestly – the bathrooms are almost identical to those in the States. Ridiculous maybe, but it is a small comfort when you're 4000 miles from home.

Great hotel. Was very happy to have stayed here.

“Excellent hotel in City Centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

I stayed @ this hotel in the month of Nov. Check in is smooth. Rooms are spacious and with a great view of city and palace of science and culture. Breakfast is wonderful to start a great day.
The fitness centre and pool are amazing. Shoping and entertainment next to the hotel.
Overall a great hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a oom on upper floors for a great view

“One of the best”

Got an upgrade, got free fruits and wine. Cheap for an Intercontinental. Huge room with stunning city view from one of the top floors with a comfortable bed. Very spotlessly clean. Staff was very helpful in recommending a place to dine and even made reservations for us. They definitely set a new high for me.

About 15 minute walk to the main street of Warsaw. If you prefer, a line of taxis are just across the street.
