“Excellent hotel in a very good location (despite most complaints here)”

Don't understand why people complain about this hotel's location. Interconti, Marriott or Hilton are maybe closer to the city centre (only concrete and steel centre really), but they are too not really in the Old Town either. Only Bristol - Le Meridien is located in the Old Town, but it is not the kind of a hotel a discerning traveller would chose.
Hyatt is located by the best park in the city (Royal Baths) and in the best district - Mokotow. If you feel like going for a walk, jog or live Chopin concert (only on certain days and seasons), you can't be in a better spot. Park looks absolutely stunning in autumn - with all the colour trees, red squirrels and peacocks. It is close to good restaurants (Rozana, Amber Room, Biala Ges and others). Very convenient and good transfer to the airport and biggest business park around Domaniewska Street. You don't have to pass the city centre which can be completely stuck during rush hours. If you want the Old Town, you're just 10 minutes taxi ride away (less than $10).
Rooms are spacious and very comfy. Bathrooms are amazing. Service is really great and you can see how it is much better than in other hotels in Poland. Food from the on-site restaurant is great if a bit overpriced. Gym and spa are very nice and provide much more than just bare minimum of what most business hotels have (good size pool, exercise floor, weights, cardio, sauna, whirlpool, steam room).

Room Tip: Ask for an outside facing room if you want to see more than just patio. Patio facing rooms will guar...

“More Atmosphere on the Moon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

I feel very sorry for the General Manager of this property, he has great staff, a great attitude, and is really pushing forward advances in service and customer care at this hotel.
Unfortunately he has to do this with both hands tied behind his back because the property is a faceless, architectural nightmare. It is in a remote location when compared to the hotels in the old town or in the centre of the commercial areas. Whatever positive changes he brings, only a bulldozer and a change of location can put the Hyatt at the top of the pile.

The hotel could be anywhere in the world. As you sit in the lobby / lounge bar /reception you are reminded of any faceless hotel in St Louis, Reading, or Mannheim. If you are unlucky enough to be allocated an inside facing room this feeling is magnified. There are no separate bars, or private areas to enjoy - all happens in a central atrium with the obligatory pianist, competently playing bland elevator muzak. Prices in this Foyer lounge were eye watering by Polish standards, but the staff were very attentive, and glasses never empty for long.

Breakfast is very good - and the " Austrian?" chef was always on hand ensuring a deft touch to all the dishes coming out of the kitchen

Service is impeccable - The executive lounge in this low rise property is compact, but well furnished and supplies the usual club lounge fare of basic canapés and a few drinks - but is nothing special - The window seats could appeal to car spotters with main roads running down 2 sides of the property.

If good service and a hearty breakfast is your sole criteria for choosing your accomodation then you should stay here - the staff try really hard to overcome the location and blockhouse atrium design, but i do not know why anyone would chose this hotel over the Intercontinental which offers all the Hyatt does, PLUS a great location, spectacular spa, and striking architecture.

Room Tip: Avoid inside facing rooms - Stay here if service is more important than location and ambience.

“A true 5***** Luxury Hotel”

Hyatt Regency Warsaw is my choice for the business and leisure trips in Warsaw.
It is a true 5 Stars Luxury Hotel.
The general services, the professional attitude and kindness of the staff, the rooms, the wellness area will made your staying in the Hyatt Regency Warsaw a fantastic experience, to be honest this hotel is close to perfection in making you feel home and comfortable.
I have no complains at all.
I was very satisfied under any profile.
I tested the restaurant downstairs…the Buffalo tartare was really good.
The breakfast is really worthy of note.
Perfect Benedicte Eggs, not so common to have in the breakfast menu, very wide and tasty pastry selection.
Really a very good breakfast.
I can only recommend this luxury hotel.

“An excellent hotel and great staff”

My business partner & I stayed at the Hyatt Warsaw for 3 nights in mid-October on the recommendation of our client. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at, the rooms were on the Embassy Side with excellent facilities, great breakfasts but the most significant memory of all is of the superb staff in every department. Friendly, helpful and courteous - excellent. We are looking forward to going back there.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Embassy Side are quieter
