“Good hotel when on business trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast options, warm reception and care during your stay are some of the good points besides being near to the mall, public transport as well as other facilities. Good restaurants within walking distance. If you are enthusiatic then you can walk upto the old city as well. Overall for business stay it is a good hotel. Only pitfall is that the internet access is expensive so either you have to come to the lobby for free internet access. This is one thing if it is included as price for the room you pay then it will be fantastic.

Room Tip: Higher floor with room facing the mall is better

Dear Sir,
Thank you for sharing your positive feelings about our service. We want every guest to feel especially and uniquely treated by us. We are glad you tasted and liked dishes served in our Brasserie Restaurant and that you appreciated our efforts to meet your requirements.
The internet connection, that was not available in your room, is already included in the room rate in executive rooms and suites.
We will be more than happy to attend to your needs again in the future.
Best wishes,
Luiza Chłopecka

“Very friendly staff , excellent location and always a smiling face around caring for you”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Staff friendliness made a huge difference in comparison with other holiday inns
Everything worked well and very prompt service
Only disadvantage : wireless internet was NOT for free
Trying to find right channels on TV a bit cumbersome
Towels though a bit old century - not very soft either

Dear Madame,

Thank you for posting the review of your experience during your stay in our hotel. I am really proud of the receptionists’ attitude, their efficient work and quick response to guests’ needs. When it comes to the internet connection, there is an additional charge for it in standard rooms, but you can use it for free on the ground and first floor. There is a Business Centre at guests’ disposal, situated nearby the reception desk and opened 24 hours for free. To operate a TV more easily we have prepared a channel list, which should be found on the table in each room on the table. I will pass your remark on the quality of our towels to the Housekeeping department in order to solve it.
Once again, thank you for your time and I hope your next stay in our hotel will be even more satisfying.
Best regards,
Luiza Chłopecka

“I Can't recommend”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

There were several issues that irritated me within astay in the hotel. First eventhough a higher price nothing was included - breakfast and internet connection neither. As mentioned Internet connection was paid but unstable and did not work properly. Long, long queques in the reception. Once you wait 10 minutes you get information that you can't pay you bill breakfast included because you were not on breakfast yet and the system doesn't allow to add it. So you go for a breakfast and then stay even twice longer time in the queque to reception. The offer for a cup of coffee can't help the situation. Beside that breakfast was very good as well as kind and still positive receptionist. Nice they had several types of pillow to sleep you better but I also had a hole in the bed-clothes.

Dear Sir,

At the beginning I would like to thank you for your feedback regarding the service in our hotel.
I am genuinely sorry for all the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. I do apologize for not having informed you about the rules of adding breakfast to the final bill. You could have paid for breakfast directly in the restaurant or settle the bill in advance by choosing an option with breakfast. Although the Wi-Fi is only not included in standard rooms, you have free access to the internet in the public area and in higher category of rooms, such as executive rooms or suite.
In case of any problems with the Wi-Fi, we send our technician to check and fix it. Thanks to your review we know which areas of our service need consideration and improvement. Clear and efficient communication is essential to avoid any problems and to focus on living up to our guests’ expectations.
I am delighted that despite many inconveniences, you found our ‘Pillow menu’ useful and comfortable. It is something we are proud of and are often distinguished by guests.

Once again, thank you for your time and for sharing your feelings about our service. I hope if you decide to choose our hotel again, you will be satisfied by with an improved quality.
Yours faithfuly,
Luiza Chłopecka

“Nothing special. Quite average”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

I thought it would be better..... Hotel is placed in center and quite good, taking into consideration Zloty Terrasy trade center and Central Railway Station. Price for rooms is OK.
From the other hand now 3 high skyscrapes surround it (hotel is just 6-floor hight), and it seems like hotel is hidden and not looks reasonable (as it is not new hotel - it also decrease my grade). Construction is everywhere outside the hotel. Noisy quite a bit.
Talking about hotel itself - well, the rooms (standards at least) are cleen and looks fine (not new but good anyway). Pдease do not expect for some extras like iron, bath accessories (except liquide soap and towels) and hairbrushes. NOTHING! But you have safe and kettle (koffee and tea, sugar added of course), and LCD TV. Even no sparkling water in the room.
It is not the case for hotel with world brandname for nickel-and-diming.
The second minus is the restaurant/breakfast.
We had breakfasts, dinners and suppers and I am dissapointed with low and slow service (main course we were waiting for 45 minutes!!!!!!! Though there was nothing special just salmon). The a la carte menu for all day is poor and breakfast cannot pretend to be good due to that. And coffee mashines had only 2-3 options of 8 (!!) How it can be? Even no cappucino. Management should visit nearby hotels like Polonia Palace or Novotel to find how it is to have proper food service!
Every morning in conference room the temperature was like in refrigerator. For what?
Total we have: rooms have mark 4; food service - 3, conference support - 4-. Average 3++.
It should be better!

“Improved, but still $$$ breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The rooms have improved quite a lot. I was impressed with the upgrades, as even the lobby was renovated. The internet was just 'ok'. Like any wireless network, it was very slow. Expensive and over-crowded, the breakfast is still not worth it. Save yourself the trouble of long lines and money by going across the street to the Carrefour supermarket. You will spend about 70 złoty on some groceries that will last all week that are quick 'American style' fixes for a traveler on the go.
