I had heard negative things about this hotel and almost canceled the reservation for a more expensive place that is more popular in Torun but went with my first impression and kept it. I was very pleased upon arrival. We stayed in 2 rooms on the 3rd floor in the older building and we were more than impressed with them. The bathrooms were spotless and not as tiny as some other hotels we were in before. The furniture in the room was nice too. If you hate climbing stairs, this place will not please you so request a room on the first floor as they do not have an elevator. The breakfast situation was weird. We did not eat there on 3 out of the 4 mornings. The breakfast room was cramped and food was sort of family style so some tables had a wide selection and others did not. Other guests were not open to sharing. Restaurants are so cheap so we just ate out after the first day even though breakfast was included in the price of our 2 rooms. The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful. We loved Torun and this hotel was a great choice.

Great little hotel, the pictures on their website don''t do it justice. I came for the film festival in Torun. It was lovely they were so nice. Super comfy bed.

Very good location and service. Breakfast amazingly big - you have almost everything on the table, very fresh, delicious! Rooms not super clean. Great view on the Vistula river however in winter a bit chilly in a room. Our room was a bit smelly ....

Have actually stayed several times in this hotel for business trips to Poland. Hotel has 2 wings, and i normally stay in a room with the wing with a lift, and with a great view of the Vistula river. Simply beautiful! Clean rooms, but shower pressure is not too strong, which I guess is normal for hotels located inside the old town. Hope they can also improve the flow of hot water, as it is not sufficient while taking bath on cold mornings. Breakfast is included, consisting of a simple but hearty selection of breads, cheeses, cold meats, and boiled eggs, and lots of juices and coffee. The owner and receptionists are very warm, helpful, and friendly. No real business center, but guests were welcome to use the in-house computer for emails, etc. No free wifi internet, although those Orange internet cards were available for sale.
