Nicely decorated rooms (if slightly small) and very friendly hotel staff. An atmospheric hotel in a great location

A tremendous location, halfway between the river and the old town square. Lots of bars, restaurants, and even 2 jazz clubs close at hand, but not close enough to disturb a good nights sleep.
This hotel has more of a good guesthouse atmosphere. There is a small reception area with elegant, comfortable chairs. The adjoining breakfast room could prove a bit tight if everyone came down at the same time.
The bedroom provided was a double for sole occupancy, which made it a very good deal.
Refurbishment was recent, with a sparkling new bathroom, and a bedroom very tastefully furnished in traditional style, with some very nice wooden fittings.
Everything worked fine.
The only drawback was the steep spiral staircase, which could prove a bit of a challenge.

A great location at a fabulous price! The guarded parking lot was only a short walk away. Employees were very friendly. Be aware, though, that to get to many of the rooms, there are several flights of stairs to climb. The only downside to our stay was that our room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke.

The hotel is in a brilliant location (3 mins walk from the Old Town square and 1 min from St John Cathedral), right in the heart of Old Town.
They offer practically everything you need - good wifi connection, clean bed, superbly reach continental breakfast. The service is very helpful, cheerful, polite. And two cats Rudzia and Basia add a bit of charm to it, too.

Highly recommended.

P.S. Torun - totally astonishing city, Old Town is beyond description...
