“Wifi did not worked, the rest very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2010

I got a good price on my room at Vivaldi Hotel. The location of the hotel is fine. The checkout was fast. The room was really nice and clean, it was modern and very comfortable. Nevertheless it was a problem with wifi connection. It did not worked on the third floor. It works only when you go downsters to the area near reception. Quite strange for a hotel of this class. And I would recommend for hotel's management to make better elevator.

“Absolutely Brilliant 5 stars all the way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2010

We went to the Hotel Vivaldi after leaving another hotel where the carpets were stained and disgusting. What a relief to find this hotel. The staff were corteous, the rooms immaculate, the food great. We were so relieved to have found this hotel compared to our first one! I definitely recommend it for anyone.
We are going to use it from now on as our hotel to go to when we have meetings in Poznan, ( which is a beautiful city ).

“Don't relay on first impressions.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2009

The photos of this hotel suggested a cube structure with sail like design in an isolated location which appeared contrary to the claims of it being "central ". As the taxi headed for the hotel on what were "dug up" back streets it began to look like the descriptions were less than honest. This first impression was far from the truth. Yes it was surrounded by some pretty major road construction but this was due to the new tram lines being installed which when finished will mean 20 yards from the front door a tram will take you to a stones throw of the Old market square for pennys. Nice to see EU money being put to good use and this is apparent throughout the city.
The hotel is small to medium and although it is apparently 10 years old it is clean, moderm and very well maintained with fixtures and fittings looking new. Our room was an odd triangular shape, due to the hotel being prism like and not cubed, but a good size corner location and in very good condition. There was a large bathroom with impressive seperate shower and bath, again all quality fittings.
If I wanted to be picky I could say no tea and coffee making facilities in room, but room service was inexpensive, all the TV channels were in Polish, except CNBC, but I was in Poland, or the hotel was very quiet but this was the first weekend in spring and what's wrong with quiet?
It was perhaps a brisk 15-20 minutes walk to the square but a taxi cost about 4 quid so there are alternatives and you can walk via the Citadella park which is impressive in it's own way.
In the end we paid about 70 pound per night/room for this hotel, enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna and would recommend to anyone.

“pre wedding venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2005

The staff were aware that a group of English visitors were about to descend on them for a nearby wedding. They were kind enough to organize as many English speaking staff to be on duty as possible for our 5 day stay. They were extremely helpful, even booking appointments at the nearby beauty salon and getting taxi's to go to our varied destinations. When a member of our party sustained an injury (from the wedding reception- not held here), the staff helped to liase with the doctors and the patient. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty.

The quality of food was great, the cleanliness was brilliant, the pool was small but good - the robes they gave you to use were lovely and they elevator took you directly to the pool - so no need to keep changing. The turn round on ironing and washing was astonishing.

Basically I cannot praise the hotel enough.

I want to make another trip to Poznan to do some of the sights I ran out of time to do. Poznan had an excellant vibe and beautiful architecture.
