“Good but quite far from the centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

Hotel is located near Rondo Kaponiera, from one side there is a good access from the Poznan - Lawica airport, only about 15-20 minutes by bus, but from the other side, it is about 2 km from the old town of Poznan. So depending what you need, it might be a good choice or not.
Room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom clean, so everything was ok in this area. One thing that could be improved is the noise from outside, even with closed window in a room you can hear a noise from trams going nearby.
Breakfast was very good with a very good choice of meals, cereals and fruits.
To sum up, a very good hotel, but be aware, that it is not so close to old town.

“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

Good hotel in a really good location. 15 minutes walking from city centre. It is easy to arrive from airport. I take this hotel because of the location close to the exhibition center. The service was very good and staff are friendly and helpfull. Quick check in and out. The room was large and comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent great choice of food but the price was 70 PLN and its too much.

“decent place to stay in poznan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

not necessarily the best feel-good hotel in europe. comfortable stay for business trip.

the hotel in general, loby and interior design of the room tell you that you are staying at a decent place.

my room was large and its location and view was ok. the haeting was good, there was a heating lamp in bathroom even. it was very convenient since even in august poznan was chilling. hot water, herbal and black tea was provided in the room. bed was comfortable. internet connection was suffient for checking my emails and do some surfing.

you cannot use your electrical devicec with the plugs in poland without an adaptor. the hotel was not providing any for free but selling it for 8 euros. the reasoning of the receptionist girl was that the customers before us always promised to bring them back but they did not. so in a way we were being punished because of the sins of people who stayed before us; funny and sad at the same time. the receptionist girl probably did not realise that her explanation made the situation worse than it already was. apart from that wierd conversation about the adaptor, the staff was helpful and kind.

breakfast hall is inviting. from a foreigners point of view i can tell that there were some wierd local food served at the breakfast. yet i was able to find some usual stuff which means the variety was good.

the coolist thing about the hotel was the preperation on the coffe table comprised of "let good things happen" printed cloth bag, water, rolls and and city map for the visitor. i took the paper bag with me and i use it when i go to shoping.

the general feel of the hotel is somewhat "functional" than "sensational". it is a place to stay but not necessarily have significant recallings of. yet, i would stay there again if i were to go to poznan and i would recomend it to potential visitors of the city.
