“good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

Quiet and lovely renovated and designed post industrial buildings complex. The design of the hotel is very modern although the site used to be an army barracks. It is sleek. And very clean, wooden floors in a very spacious room with a refrigerator. The room was very spacious with a modern bathroom and small kitchenette. The size of the room was excellent, it did not feel cramped like some city centre hotels. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated and very homely. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. The spa was very relaxing.
Reception building with a bar is located in another building so you should walk from the rooms outside to another building, it was not very problematic for me.

“A Fantastic Experience”

On our trip around Europe we decided to stay in Poznan. We chose the hotel because of good reviews. The area was a former military base and is now converted in to residences, a small shopping centre and a hotel.

On arrival we were given an upgrade and ended up in the biggest suite. The staff spoke acceptable English and were very friendly. We were helped to our rooms in another building - and were showed to the largest suite I have every stayed in. It was elegantly furnished and spotless.

The bed was extremely conformable - and the temperature control was modern and efficient. The room was quiet so we slept extremely well.

Free buffet style breakfast was included with our room so we did not have the opportunity of visiting the small breakfast shops downstairs.

All public spaces are beautifully decorated and very elegant.

We tried the Whiskey bar and were impressed with the selection. The service was excellent.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations.

“Strange Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

Our family of 4 stayed in City park residence cos it offered a good deal and it claimed a 5*. When we checked in at hotel reception and moved all our luggages with the hotel trolley. As we were allocated at another building first floor, then we need to take the trolley across the road to the next building nearby. In the morning we have to cross the road and back to hotel reception for breakfast. The hotel is not a hotel even-thought the room is large but simple, definitely not 5*. If you expect a 5* service then do not choose this one.

“Nice Hotel, great location”

I was really impressed by this spot, it is a former military base converted to residences, retal shops and a hotel.

The rooms were large by European scale, spotlessly clean and very modern.
The pool located on the third floor of the central building was an added bonus, again this facility was the cleanest I have seen during my travels.
They also have a beautifully equipped gym that seems to get very little use as there is a small fee. There is also fitness equipment around the pool.
Great saunas on site (no charge) as well

Free breakfast was included with our room and it was a small very well prepared buffet style spread. The girls working the breakfast were a blur, they never stopped moving, cleaning or replacing food . . . now if I could only get Canadian staff to work that hard and efficient I would be a happy person.

Front staff were "OK" several of them were friendly and helpful, the "concierge" who looked like he was wearing his daddies suit had a bit of an attitude but his tip reflected his attitude, if you get my drift.

Room Tip: inside rooms are best as there is little or no traffic in teh private compound

“Euro-modern has it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2011

February - After a long flight ,step from the shower onto the heated tiled floor in the vast warm bathroom, wrap yourself in the towel heated on the rack, then bundle up in the robe provided. You've already received a warm, most courteous welcome at reception. The double room is spacious, stylishly furnished and well equipped with a fridge, microwave, sink, electric kettle, wardrobe space and safe, all secluded behind floor to ceiling mirrored/plain sliding walls. The big bed is very comfortable. Buffet breakfasts were included with a full range, or visit the Bagel Shop, the Wine Bar, or the beauty salon, supermarket etc in the mini-mall just steps away on the property. The pool and spa upstairs are luxurious. Taxis always available, short walk to trams. The price is very right for such a great experience.
