I was really impressed by this spot, it is a former military base converted to residences, retal shops and a hotel.
The rooms were large by European scale, spotlessly clean and very modern.
The pool located on the third floor of the central building was an added bonus, again this facility was the cleanest I have seen during my travels.
They also have a beautifully equipped gym that seems to get very little use as there is a small fee. There is also fitness equipment around the pool.
Great saunas on site (no charge) as well
Free breakfast was included with our room and it was a small very well prepared buffet style spread. The girls working the breakfast were a blur, they never stopped moving, cleaning or replacing food . . . now if I could only get Canadian staff to work that hard and efficient I would be a happy person.
Front staff were "OK" several of them were friendly and helpful, the "concierge" who looked like he was wearing his daddies suit had a bit of an attitude but his tip reflected his attitude, if you get my drift.
