Orbis Petropol is an older hotel in the center of Plock. While we stayed there in 2003, we had problems with the heat - the room was sweltering and there was no way for us to control the temperature except to open the windows while it was snowing outside. The room itself was ok - 2 narrow twin beds, a desk, TV and average bathroom. Overall, the room was clean and decent for a 1 night stay.
Restaurant in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Dinner was terrible - food was not good - we should have gone out to a local restaurant. Breakfast was ok - your typical Polish breakfast (eggs to order, cold cuts, breads, yogurt, juice, etc.).
Since our last stay, my husband and I have been back to Plock but have not stayed at Orbis Petropol and are much happier to stay elsewhere for the same money.
