This Hotel has a typical communist style. It can be interesting to visit for people who want to know how was Poland before 1989.

This place has no other charm. The reception staff is not very friendly.

The rooms are ok, bigger than in some more "international" hotels in Lodz.

I envoyed the quality of the food served for the breakfast, and was surprised when the staff gave me a take away breakfast the morning I left the hotel.

The bar staff is like the reception staff, except thay don't speak english, but the food served at the restaurant is very good.

Spent three days over a weekend here as visiting Poland to attend a wedding. Reception staff not overly friendly or helpful. We had booked a double room and were given a twin room. On returning to reception to correct this mistake, they were not overly happy to offer us a double room as we had booked, but eventually they did give us a double room. Room was basic (first visit to Poland, so unsure of standards etc.) but felt that £60 a night was expensive, but it was clean.

Room service is to be avoided, extremely expensive!

Breakfast was bland to say the least and again restuarant staff were unwelcoming. Bar staff were extremely slow, we were the only two people in the bar and had to wait around 15 minutes to be served.

If returning to Lodz again I would not choose this hotel again.
