Hotel is located just between two old-town squares in one of those XVI century buildings. Outside it matches the surroundings without any heavy branding. Inside you will find all for *** class. I think that this is the best option in this town and probably in this part of Poland. During my short say I did not find anythink to comlain.

OK, the standard rooms are lousy. After one look, I didn't dare show my partner. Instead, I asked to see the suite immediately. For a relatively nominal price to upgrade (maybe $60-$80 more), there was nothing to contemplate!!

The suite overlooking the square is fantastic. Granted a little dated and the linens are lacking, but this is offset by a stunning view and a huge amount of space. After a night in Ukraine, the suite was a god send!! If you go, the suite is worth every penny. The staff was also very friendly, although challenged with English at times.

As for Zamosc - Wonderful. The perfect place to relax after a month of traveling. Beautiful, but small enough that you won't feel guilty just drinking beer and enjoying the local cuisine. Some of the buildings on the exterior of the old city are still under going renovation, but the center is fabulous. One of my favorite spots in Poland and central Europe.

If you can swing it, include Zamosc in your trip to Poland!! Two nights is plenty, although you only need an afternoon to see all the sights.

location fantastic, but the hotel itself is way over-priced. rooms are small and basic (cheap and nasty linen), internet extra and the bathrooms - mine at least - smell of stale urine. the receptionists are great, but wasted on a hotel like this. This is exactly the sort of hotel Poland could have got away with ten years ago. the country has since moved on, but Orbis Zamosc haven't. and as for the bar - always important - it's basically an after-thought: stuck in a windowless part of the hotel, horrid generic effort with utterly naff eurotrash rubbish. anyhow, the location is wonderful, but if you want anything more than just a bed you'll be disappointed. If this is the best in Zamosc then that's a great shame on the city - hoteliers have let an otherwise marvellous town down.

After a very stressful trip from Ukraine through the polish border, we found the people from reception extremely helpful. They helped us to find and reserve the best bus connection available to Cracow for the next day. Apart from that, the hotel is located in a corner from the beautiful arcaded Central Square. Rooms were OK and the only but was the broken lift.
