Pros - This hotel is in a lovely building, outside and in, and very close to the centre of beautiful Wroclaw. We had a nice big and quiet room and even had a baby bath especially bought for us, apparently (but we certainly would have preferred a real bath).
Cons - Maybe we got unlucky but the water during our 3 night stay was brown and undrinkable. We were disgusted to take a shower in it, and brushed our teeth using the mineral water they provided in the room. Which, might I say, they only provided on the first and third day. So we had to buy our own water just to be able to clean our teeth. The completely unhelpful and arrogant man on the reception desk said there were works going on and nothing could be done. An apology, a notice advising guests and/or extra water in the rooms would have made it far less unpleasant than it was. And I imagine no one else was aware the water was brown, as it was only because we had the baby bath which showed up the colour. I thought this was a disgrace from a hotel that is certainly not cheap.
Other annoying things were the bathrooms - the shower water literally does go everywhere. For around 60 or 70 pounds a night I don't expect to have to walk all over water and mop the bathroom constantly. It's brilliant for disabled people, I applaud them for having such facilities, but I don't think all rooms should be like this.
Other annoying quirks were an alarm we couldn't get off, black out blinds that filled the room with light, an overload of gadgets that took time to work out how to use, and as I say, a completely uninterested useless man on reception who could not provide a straight answer about anything, least of all what the weather forecast was or how to get to Krakow. (all other staff other than this weekend morning man were great)
Brown water, flooded bathrooms and a lack of service aside it was a good hotel but I'm sure you can find better for the price.
