“average”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2011

In my opinion, are better hotels in Wroclaw in this (or even lower) price. It is a good location - practically the very center, walk to the market comes in a few minutes. Room clean, you can see that the recently renovated. TV with cable, air conditioning in the room. Wireless Internet (WIFI) free of charge. Breakfast extra charge, however, is not worth the price.

“OK but watch the river”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2011

This Campanile is located a bit outside of the old town in Wroclaw, but you still can get there from the market square by foot.
It is located close to the Odra river, so if you are keen on jogging, this is the right hotel for you. There is a dedicated path for joggers along the river.
In addition this hotel has one of best price/quality ratio in Wroclaw.
In general, I advise to book hotel either via booking.com or direct on campanile.com. It is much more cheaper comparing to the prices offered in the hotel.
You can easily arrive in the hotel by car. I have never had problems to find a free place in car parking, which is located in front of the hotel.
In the room you will find TV with quite good offer of TV channels like Canal+.
I didn't try the hotel restaurant, because in the old town, you can find many places to eat lunch or dinner.
Breakfast like in other hotels of that chain – simple but sufficient, so there is a choice of hot (sausages and scrambled eggs) and cold food, fruits, cheese.

“Nothing fancy, nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

We travelled in a group of 60 and spent two night at this hotel. There were a couple of things apparent from the very beginning - rude service, cheap-looking interior of the room, tasteless food. The only advantages were: electric kettle, hairdryer and TV set in the room. Well, I won't be a returning customer. The city itself however, is great and the hotel is relatively close to the Old Town (though you have to walk through a shabby street or two to get there).

“Basic hotel Ok for night stop if price is good, secure car park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2010

Not used Campanile for a while (apart form lovely new gen one in Northampton) so forgotten they are so cheaply designed and this one being a bit old is starting to fall apart. A piece of ceiling cornice fell on us in the night and curtain was hanging from rail. Older people might worry there is no bath grab handles or non slip mat so we did not use the shower but small bath instead.
However room was clean and staff really friendly and cheerful and it is a 15 minute stroll from the market place for a bit of sight seeing.
Free WIFI really was free and connected quickly.
Breakfast uninspiring with poor coffee but I thnk my expectations are higher these days!

“hotel clean, cheap friendly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2010

Stayed there 5 nights in July 2010. Area where hotel is situated not so lovely but we got cheap taxis everywhere. No problems with hotel. It was cheap(ish), clean and staff were friendly. Food was good. Old town square had many restaurants and everywhere we ate was first class. Very cosmopolitan atmosphere. Good shopping at Magnolia Park. Most people spoke English.
