I have to completely agree with the above review I have just read. We stayed in this 'hotel' for 3 nights as we could not be bothered looking for somewhere else and were also worried they would take money from the credit card we booked with if we were to leave.

On arrival there was no one there to check us in, we had to wait 20 mins or so until someone arrived then when we tried to pay by card they said we could not and had to get cash the next day. We were showed to our room which was a good size but was a bit dirty i.e bed sheets had stains on them and shower was dirty. As with the previous review the hotel was not at all as advertised there was no where to sit and have a drink, the picture advertised is not like it whatsoever and has been pasted from somewhere else. The toilet roll soon ran out and as the rooms werent cleaned at all during our stay and we couldn't find anyone to ask for some we ended up buying some from a shop.

The breakfast was ok, basic but enough for us but again not as advertised.

If you want to be anywhere near town then this hotel is not for you. Its advertised as a 15 minute walk and I like to think my partner and I are pretty healthy but it took us a good 25 mins to get to the main street and that was going down!

The only good thing about this hotel is the fact that its about a 15 minute walk up to the cable car that takes you up to Kasprowy wierch with fantastic views that take your breath away.

As with the last review I dont normally complain about things and can normally put up with quiteb a lot but I feel I have to warn other people about this false advertising.

Oh and if you do go and pay by cash be very careful, we were charged 500 zlotys and when we later worked this out we found he had overcharged us.

We were very disappointed with this accommodation and left after 1 night. We have never complained about a hotel/bed and breakfast before, there were 9 of us and it was a unanimous decision. The only breakfast we had was not good (certainly not the 7 different sets? with little bread and no buns as per their web-site) and very limited. Their web-site is very inaccurate and the pictures on it are nothing like the reality! It felt we had gone back in time to bad Blackpool B. & B. circa 1970 but with a shower room jammed in the corner. There is no Sauna, Jacuzzi or Ski school. We arrived at 9pm and complained that we did not have the accommodation we thought we would - they said it was the 'apartment' on the web site - nice lounge etc, all of which we didn't have. In fact there is no lounge or any where to sit. We said OK can we have the apartment but this did not seem possible - the 'apartment' was not even in the Willa Wrzos but in the adjoining property run by them the Asterix. There was only one young man who spoke limited English and he was surly and unhelpful. We had sent 6 e-mails since we made the original booking asking about various things including lessons (on their web site), meals, towels etc. We had even had the main one translated into Polish. When I sent that twice and tracked it to see if it was opened it should have been a warning to us when we received not a single reply. We could not even get a drink when we arrived there, (tiny bar in corner of the dining area was not open although the web site says open as long as necessary) no food (which had been the subject of 1 of our e-mails - web site says Grill Bar) and no help! The tourist information office the next day (a Sunday) were excellent and helped us to find alternative accommodation which was cheap, clean and well run and I would certainly go back there. When we said we were leaving, the 'apartment' was mysteriously available, but as we felt we had been conned we declined and left. There was also a slight problem with payment then as they wanted cash - we had to pay for 2 nights and not just the one we stayed for which we accepted but their card machine was apparently not working. When we stood our ground and said that was the only way we would pay it worked then. We would suggest to anyone considering a stay here to think again as there is a lot of much better but no more expensive accommodation in Zakopane which is a really good place to go - it did not spoil our holiday after we left there!
