“Business Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2011

I was travelling with a group of clients and stayed at this hotel. It is located just next to the mountains. Everything in the hotel reminded you that you are in highlanders' region. The rooms weren't very big, but you could find them comfortable. Breakfasts were what I remember the most: tasty, healthy, looking great and local food. The reception staff was very friendly. It is always better to book hotels in Zakopane many weeks in advance.

“Excellent”

We stayed in the Grand Nosalowy Dwór - the bigger one, further away from the street.
As the previous reviewer said, the hotel is brand new - no springboards coming out from beds or leaking showers, etc. The rooms are nicely decorated with black and white photos of the region. The view from the window was great - you could see both Nosal and Giewont peaks.
The cleaning service exceeded all my expectations - I have never cleaned my own room like this myself :)
The breakfast was OK, although there are not many tables and they are family-oriented as far as size goes. I wonder if the hotel gets full, would one have to share the table with another couple/family? As far as food is concerned, we found a sweet treat on our bed every day. :) I reccommend the food in Nosalowy Dwór *** (although I don't reccommend the waiters, they were not too friendly).
The pool is great and there are plenty of sunbeds around it. You can relax after the hard day of hiking there. And the hotel is indeed close to Kasprowy Wierch hiking trails. On the other hand, it's far away from the city centre, but that's what we actually liked.

“Great hotel (and great food!!)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

First of all, it's worth mentioning that there is no one 'Hotel Nosalowy Dwor' (which we were confused about before we booked); the complex comprises two sister hotels close to each other - 'Nosalowy Dwor' (***) and 'Grand Nosalowy Dwor' (****). We stayed in the latter (****).
In terms of our experiences, I have to say that we were really amazed with the complex. Both hotels are very pretty and match the local architecture (quite similar to Switzerland or austria). The one we stayed in (****) is brand new (built Jan 2010 Ithink). The design is amazing! The hotel looks like a modern take on a classic Swiss resort; definitely worth going to the circular cafe 'Panoramica' on the top floor where one can admire the surrounding mountains and have some great drinks (on some nights they also do small concerts there). The rooms are perhaps not the biggest ones we've ever stayed in but are very comfortable and modern.
Also, the hotel is situated practically at the foot of the tatra mountains so it's great if you're going hiking (as we did most days) or, I can imagine, for skiing in winter (the closest slope is some 100 metres away). We saw they have a ski room and do skiing lessons which we might try when we come back.
Service is ok and everyone seems to speak English. A fair few English tourists around, some Germans and of course Poles (met a very friendly couple from Warsaw!)
Also on the plus side, there's the food. We often had sandwiches in the cafe on the top floor (recommended!) or went to the 'Aster' restaurant (try the steak or the potato soup). There's also the restaurant in the (***) hotel - we only tried it on the last day - shame cause they serve really tasty regional specialties (though the stuff is a bit heavy so maybe not for dinner every day).
Finally, a great swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi etc. complex. Lots of families with children in the evenings but the place is quite big so it didn't feel crowded. There's also a gym with cardio etc.
Drawbacks? The service in 'Aster' restaurant could be a bit quicker.
All in all, we most definitely recommend it! Had a great time in Zakopane and the hotel's one of the nicest ones we've ever stayed in!

“Good hotel, great restaurant, excellent staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 May 2010

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over the Polish long weekend. The room was a good standard, and everything was clean and working. However, the best thing about the hotel was how helpful the staff are - they helped us arrange everything, even before we arrived, and once we were there they were excellent as well. The restaurant is also very good, and there is a sauna you can book privately - free of charge. The only advice I would give is that it's located a bit further out of town so it's worth getting a taxi from the bus/train station! This is a very high standard 3* hotel with 5* service.

“Beautiful place!”

I did really enjoy my stay at this beautiful hotel! It was my first time in Zakopane and i liked it very much.
The Nosalowy Dwor Resort isn't in the centre, but not so far and in a quiet place. Rooms are comfortable, food is delicious (I'm a big fan of the polish cuisine), the architecture is amazing. This place makes you feel really at ease and it's got a true mountain soul. I also found the swimming pool and sauna centre very luxury and spacious. As for the staff, everybody was nice and helpful. There were some nice evenings arranged for hotel's guests- live music and other surprises.
I had a very romantic stay in this resort. I would higly recommend it!
