The Tourist House PTTK is rather kind of a hostel. It's really good for groups of students and especially active tourists who just want to have a place to sleep when they're not in the mountains... The rooms are clean, but you shouldn't expect any luxuries. The beds are a bit small, but it's not a huge problem. Personally, I love architecture of the building which suites local traditions, unlikely most of modern hotels. It looks similar to the mountain huts located in the Tatry Mountains. Location of the Tourist House is also its advantage. It is a quiet place but just a few steps form the central street of Zakopane, where are many shops, restaurants and even some clubs. It's perfect if you're traveling by public means of transport (15 minutes by foot to the railway and bus station).
