i booked this hotel based on the reviews on this site and i have to say the hotel lived up to everything that has been written about it. From check-in to check-out everything was prefect we were a mixed group ranging in ages between mid 30s to mid 50s and everyone had nothing but praise for the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were warm and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent .We were 10-15mins walk from the main square and the jewish districts bars and restaurants were just around the corner. If you want a nice quiet hotel I would recommmend this hotel wholeheartly.

We had a three night stay at the Columbus with friends purely to do some sightseeing. Located just on the edge of the Jewish Quarter we had easy access to plenty of restaurants for our evening meal, and a gentle stroll in the opposite direction saw us in the main square within 15 minutes. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly, and always on hand to help with any info we needed. The rooms are spacious for this class of hotel, and the included breakfast was plentiful in the more continental buffet style. The free wi-fi was very handy in allowing me to keep the plethora of junk mail I get every day to a minimum. Our room was at the front of the hotel, which meant that the main road, with associated traffic noise was outside our window. This might be a problem for some people, but as we were up and out early each morning, and totally zonked every evening after a busy day, we didn't find it so. All in all a great little hotel which I am very pleased to recommend. Would I stay there again? Yes, without a doubt.

we have stayed at the hotel columbus three times.each time we still love it.the staff very friendly and helpful.the rooms are quite spacious and very clean,i do recommend though asking for a room in the back of the hotel,the front can be a bit noisy once morning starts.the breakfast is very good and plentiful,the girls that helpout at breakfast are very efficient always making sure the food is plentiful,there is no need to ask for anything,because they have already brought it out.the hotel is in the jewish section of krakow,which is in itself very interesting.the trolley stop is about one block or less from hotel which makes it very conveniant,a good 15min walk to center or where the christmas markest are held,but there are two ways of walking there and both are pleasant walks not far at all.we love this hotel

Columbus hotel was very good. Only the pillows could be improved: I thought they were very very soft. Room was clean, very nice, breakfast was good, and in front of the hotel stops a tram, which is very easy to take to Wawel castle etc etc.
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I would go to Krakau again.
