Initial impressions were good. Just off the main square but set back in a courtyard. Nice reception/cafe, lots of tango music building the atmosphere and an attentive host who offered sandwiches when we said we needed to leave before breakfast was open (08.00).

Then we were shown to the room. A funny drain smell was encountered in the stairwell. Temporay i'm sure, but offputting. (Also note the stairs are very steep, so big bags are difficult.) The room, while big and clean was cold. The radiator was off, even though we prebooked and they knew we were comming. We were offered a standalone electric heater, which I later had to swap for one that actually worked. The bathroom radiator also wasn't working so the tiled bathroom was quite cold.

This could have been good, but the cold room ruined the atmosphere. Its a great location, with good service but needs that final touch to really live up to its trip advisor ranking.

We average three short breaks a year to this wonderful city, Krakow and every time we visit it seems to get better. Normaly we stay in one of the severally good hotels, but on our last trip in December we stayed in the Tangohouse B&B and thouroughly enjoyed it there. Rooms were very clean and cosy but what impressed us the most was when we informed them that our return flights home were early morning and they did us sandwiches and drinks to take with us for the early flight. Magic! Well worth another visit

The staff here is lovely, helpful and gracious. My stay here was a long one and because I was in Krakow doing research, I was very grateful to have a charming place like Tango House to rest my head. My room was small, but quiet and clean. The bathrooms seemed brand new. Very good high speed internet, if that is important to you.There is a sweet breakfast served in the little cafe downstairs. The bed and breakfast is in a fantastic area right off the main square, but not in the craziness of the crowds. You can get everywhere you need as a tourist from there. It is also in walking distance to the bus and train station which is a plus if you are making any excursions. I would definitely stay here again.

We found the city of Krakow to be charming and the Tango House B and B had that old world charm that my husband and I love. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful in storing our luggage, discussing our plans for the day with us, and giving us helpful suggestions. The location was wonderfully close to the main old town square. Breakfast was very adequate. We loved Krakow, and we loved our stay at the Tango House and would highly recommend it.
