What can I say? A+++ for these apartments. it's got everything you need: cheap, clean, modern, well looked after, kind staff and you even get an indoor swimming pool! Location is awesome as it is walking distance from the city centre. You even get free breakfast at its parent hostel. Really great, spent 2 nights there but worth a whole week. Nothing was missing, Krakow was covered in snow when we visited but inside the apartment heating and hot water kept us warm.
I am planning to visit Krakow within the year and I am not looking for anything else. Kadetus is the right choice.

Dirty, shower broken, mattreses covered in a sheet that didn't cover filthy mattress. No quilt covers.

Positives- great location, safe, good staff, 24 hr alcohol store next door, 10 mins walk to main square.

Perfect for cheap couple of night accommodation for stag parties like ourselves.

The first thing I liked in Kadetus Hostel is extremely polite and helpfull personnel. They really did their best to help me to deal with a lot of my personal problems I experienced even before arrival. The second thing I liked there is breakfasts (in relation to the price of stay). To combine the first and the second thing, I'd like to note that I was completely surprised when we had to check out at 5:30 a.m., they leaved us a breakfast, although they always serve it at 8-11a.m.
Clean, comfortable rooms; very good location! Since we had only 1.5 days in Krakow, we spent min time walking to the center of the city and back home.

For those who is also so squeezed in time when visiting Krakow, I 'd definitely recommend to have a cycling tour with Cruising Krakow! We had a wonderful time with Mike, exploring the city in about 4-5 hours! It is far more exciting than bus or walking tours!

In short, Krakow is wonderful! Have a good time there!!!)))

As the other review state, the location really is fantastic and the price very good. However, the biggest issue for us was the incredible amount of noise from outside. As the room didn't have aircon, it was impossible to sleep with the window closed as it was so hot, but the noise from cars, trams and especially drunks in the middle of the night made it impossible to sleep with it open! We were woken up many times in the night, people were so loud we actually thought they were next door! I am usually a heavy sleeper but have never expereinced noise like it.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - we stayed in a private en-suite. Bathrooms are excellent with fantastic showers. However, the matress is covered with a thin sheet which doesn't actually tuck under it and the stains on the matress are REVOLTING. I dread to think what the stains were but considering the matresses were very thin and small it wouldn't be a massive cost to replace them.

Security was also concerning, no safes and we were made to leave keys at reception. As another review says, the people on reception changed frequently so anyone could ask for any key as they never checked. The lock on the door was also very basic. On the plus side, there is plently of CCTV and they do buzz you into the building. The free lockers for the luggage is a great touch.

Breakfast was very very poor, the kitchen on the 2nd floor is very unattractive but the 3rd floor is better. The wifi didnt work (smartphones didint pick it up) and the free computers are good but VERY slow.

Overall, good location but would pay that little bit extra to get a lot more.
