Krakow-
Is an intriguing historical city with a huge variety of sightseeing opportunities,
There are the cathedrals, ancient synagogues art galleries, salt mines, and of course Auschwitz.
Eating out is very inexpensive, a good meal should be no more than £6, and of excellent quality
There are also several "upmarket " shopping malls.
Hotel
Pros- Delightful and helpful staff who speak excellent English.
Spotlessly clean.
Spacious bedrooms with coffee making facilities and always warm.
Very enjoyable and varied buffet breakfast.
Cons.
Location is not ideal, about 2.5 miles from centre but they do provide a courtesy bus at specific times. At night time there is very little to see or walk to, not even local bars.and taxis are not particularly cheap.
Evening meal at restaurant was disappointing, expensive [for Krakow] and small portions.
We will defiantly revisit Krakow and stay at the Novotel ,if a good deal was available otherwise we would be inclined to choose a more centrally located hotel.
- Accor Krakow Bronowice
- Novotel Krakow
