I stayed in the Novotel Bronowice hotel during the whole last week. I have to admit that the quality of service there is at the high level, everything was clean and tidy, people working there were friendly and helpful with their advices.
The hotel is located a little bit far from the city center - about 4kms from the main square, so it takes you around 30 minutes walking to get there (of course you can use public transportation). When opening the window it was a little bit too noisy inside the room because of the traffic outside in my opinion... at it was noisy even though I stayed at last (11th) floor. And concerning the last floor... great view on the Krakow old city from there, including Wawel.

Standard hotel. Probably best for business people. We arrived by car, staying for 2 nights. We used the pool, which was warm and well-looked after. Breakfast was pretty good and we couldn't detect any short cuts, particularly as the place was pretty quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with the internet connection but they offered to move us to another room which we declined and got free parking instead. Win-win. We didn't go as tourists for Cracow and I think it might not be the best option for someone wanting to experience the city. There are other places much nearer the centre that offer good value. Though there aren't many with a pool.
