My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Campanile in Krakow for five nights. The location is great as it lies on the outskirts of Old Town Krakow adjacent to the "green belt". The room was spacious with two double beds and plenty of room to spread out, however there was a musty odor to the room and obvious mildew growth in the bathroom (see A.C. complaint below). The buffet breakfast was well-done and more than enough food. Our only other complaints were that 1) the front desk staff were not terribly friendly or helpful and 2) the room's A.C. was rather anemic and its inability to control the room's humidity certainly contributed to the musty mildewy conditions. This was the only hotel on our entire vacation where the humidity was so high that we could not wash out clothes and ensure they would be dry the next morning. Our overall sense was this was a hotel that exuded an upscale modern facade in the lobby, but was not maintaining the quality of the rooms themselves.
