My fiancé and I just went on a trip to Poland to visit the Auswich-Birkenau Museum. It was very cold on Poland which is expected this time of year, but what we did not expect was the warmest hospitality we've ever experienced wile traveling. Krakow's Royal Hotel is a gorgeous establishment with character, history, and an outstanding staff of the most helpful and friendly people. We both had a fantastic experience despite the frigid temperatures.

There are a list of adventages: spectacular location, good price, comfortable matrecess, clean and bright rooms, excellent breakfast (included in a price of a room), efficient staff... What would you need more? Easy way to get to your room. The hotel has got no shortage of rooms both in the old and new part of it. Unfortunately you can move between them only through a "secret" path on the first floor. Each part has got a reception, but the breakfast is served in the old section of a hotel. If you say at the new one, best idea is to go out of a hotel, walk round the building and enter the old section, I did it! Crazy, but you will probably never get back to your room after the breakfast. Keep it in mind.

Great hotel, in the middle of Krakow, just across the Wawel. Rooms are well efficient, but the hotel might need a little bit of paint job here and there... a new carpeting? It`s not run- down at all... but some little refreshment might help it to be even better. Now, restaurant is excellent, good price- range and huge portions of excellent meal, not to mention the polish beers. Staff is very - very friendly and helpful. You can`t ask for a hotel with better location in Krakow... the main square is 10 minutes walk away... One of those old- style hotels with all of their miracles. Go for it, we surely will do again!

We stayed at this hotel from 26th - 29th Dec on the recommendation of a friend. we were impressed. apart from the hotel being a bit of a maze (even the porter couldn't find our room) the hotel in terms of quality for price, cleanliness, locality all exceeded our expectations. we will return! already planning it. We unfortunately left one of our Kindles behind, but when phoned on the 2nd of Jan, it had been handed in and is in the post being safely returned to us! Awesome service!
