This hotel bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. We had an early flight arrival so ended up at the hotel at 9:30 am. We asked if we could leave our luggage there, but they said we could check into our room - no extra charge. We decided to pay for an additional breakfast and were not disappointed. Great buffet plus make-to-order eggs. The location is perfect if you are using the train or bus station - just a 5 minute walk. We used Wizz Air which has a shuttle to the bus station. We never needed a taxi. The tram stop is also right at your door for accessing several areas of the city. Then the Central Square is a 15 minute walk - and what a gorgeous walk - never had to cross a street. The old charm of the hotel won us over. Our deluxe room included a couch with large desk as well. We had to leave early one day and missed the breakfast hours - they were happy to make us a take-away breakfast for no charge. We will always stay here when we come to Krakow in the future.
CONS: This is Poland, so there were no non-smoking rooms in the hotel. When we arrived someone was smoking near our room, and we thought our room had a smell. But it went away very soon. We were comfortable for 3 days and normally we hate the smell of smoke. Also there is some traffic noise if you are facing the street, but we got used to it quickly. We love this hotel.
