This hotel provided basic accommodation. The room was clean and sheets/towels were changed daily. Mattresses were not the most comfortable and flat pillows were provided which you could roll up. There was a portable TV in the room but channels were limited - only the World News Channel was available in English. No coffee/tea making facilities were available in the room although I think reception would provide a kettle if requested. The shower was great!
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arranged trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine through the hotel reception.
There is nothing to do in the hotel. There is no communal lounge area - the Restaurant, bar area and garden were all closed during our stay. The internet access was out of order. There are lots of little eating places and bars near to the hotel. The ones we went to were all lovely and provided relatively inexpensive food and drinks. The main market square is probably 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfast in the hotel was continental style, breads, meat cheese, cereals, etc and was plentiful.
Adequate for a short break. If I was going again or for a longer time I'd look for a hotel with more facilities.
