My wife and I booked a long weekend away in Krakow, staying at the Eden Hotel, or so we thought. I booked the hotel in September for the 9,10,11 and 12 December 2011. The flight was okay, nothing to concern ourselves there and the transfer was waiting in the arrivals area, marvellous. The transfer took approximately 25 minutes. When we arrived at the hotel there was a number of people stood outside of the hotel, alarm bells not ringing yet. However, when we eventually got to the check-in desk we were informed that there was no room available for us. I explained when we had booked the hotel and showed the receptionist the confirmation notice. Eventually we were told that we had been moved to another hotel, which was local and that everything had been arranged that morning. The hotel receptionist tried to blame expedia for not allowing the hotel to contact us that morning (privacy of information). How would contacting us that morning been of any benefit ?, we were in a plane. The crux of the matter was, the Eden had been called by a school on the friday morning requiring a number of rooms, and I believe that because we were only a party of two, we were not considered important enough and they did not want our custom. This has left an extremely sour taste in our mouths and we will not be using this hotel ever again. BE WARNED.

Sweet hotel in the center of Kazimierz. Staff were friendly and helpful.. Rooms were quiet (on the back side of the hotel, overlooking the old Jewish cemetery), clean and reasonably sized. The beds, however, were the least comfortable of all the beds we experienced in a month of travels in Europe; they could definitely use an upgrade! The breakfast room - downstairs, next to the salt grotto and mikvah - was lovely and the breakfast buffet ample and delicious. They will even make eggs to order, but if you don't ask, they won't tell.

lovely quirky hotel very friendly staff. really nice quiet room with veranda. breakfast lovely and caters for all.very clean.most enjoyable stay and we will certainlybe back.very close to lovely restaurants.

Nice hotel, in the center of kazimierz. Good service. Average breakfast. Rooms are good and clean.
