This is an unusual little hotel, with lots of art and quirky design. It is located in a small village and has direct access to a peaceful lake. Lots of white wood: New England meets Mazurian Lakes. The room we had was spacious and had a balcony with beautiful lake views, very comfortable beds, but insufficient sound insulation to the neighbouring room. There is a nice garden on the lake shore with tables and sunbeds, and boats and kayaks free of charge. There is an indoors swimming pool of a decent size, plus a sauna, both of which can be reserved for private use, but oddly enough there is nowhere to lie down and chill after swimming and/or sauna. The restaurant has an interesting menu of mostly Polish dishes, although not everything on the menu was available. Food is tasty but a bit on the heavy side. Service was not unfriendly but also not exactly warm or efficient, and it would have been helpful to receive information at check-in on what the arrangements are for using the hotel infrastructure.
